Geological Context

Favorable context: Orogenic or syngenetic gold

  • Adjacent and same geological context then past producing Eastmain Mine (historical production: 118,356 tm. @ 10.6 g/t Au from 1994 to 1995, Ressources MSV, GM 56083, 1997)
  • Along strike with 2 regional auriferous trends:
    • Eastmain Mine trend
    • Ruby Hill trend
  • Colline du Château Fort showing: 3.3 g/t Au (grab sample, MERN, MB 88-16, 1988)
  • Au, Ag, Cu, Zn, As anomalies in lake bottom, soil and stream sediments (Eros Resources Corp.)
  • Very little historical work (only 10 drill holes)

Local Geophysic

  • Two well defined regional corridors with high magnetic signatures over 10km on-strike with the two auriferous corridors
  • Presence of 85 intermediate to very-strong intensity EM anomalies
