About us

Tarku Resources is a publicly traded mineral exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX.V: TKU, FRA:7TK, OTCQB:TRKUF). Tarku Resources is focused on generating high-quality exploration projects in emerging jurisdictions with strong geological potential.

Tarku’s dynamic team has extensive experience in securing highly prospective mining claims, with excellent potential for development into mining projects through joint ventures or divestitures.

Tarku Resources is currently engaged in advancing several projects of high geological merit located within mining-friendly jurisdictions at various stages of exploration.

Project Overview

Tombstone District – Arizona, United States

Tombstone Mining District is one of the earliest silver mining areas in the western United States, that began producing numerous silver mines in 1877.

Tarku Resources’ 2021 drill programs produced several promising results including high-grade drill results of up to 1,515 g/t of silver. Most importantly the updated geological models based on drill results suggest significant similarities between the Silver Strike project and the Hermosa Project which in 2018 was purchased by South32 for $1.8 billion.

Matagami – Quebec, Canada

Quebec’s Matagami area has been the host of several successful mining operations from the 1960’s with significant deposits of Zinc, Copper, gold, and silver. However, a new geological comprehension of the structures began to form more recently.

Tarku Resources’ pioneering approach to project generation has identified three unique projects within Quebec’s Matagami region, a jurisdiction with strong geological potential prompting an influx of junior explorers staking in the neighbouring areas surrounding Tarku.

Chibougamau – Quebec, Canada

Copper and Gold were discovered in the early 1900’s within the Chibougamau region with the town of Chibougamau being established in 1952. Numerous mines were developed along the shores of Lac Doré and Lac Chibougamau.

Tarku’s two projects are located along the Barlow Fault which has NEVER been drill-tested. The geological setting for Tarku’s project are favourable for the presence of gold and other base metals.

“The success of an exploration project is a balance between technical quality and social acceptability in the host environment”

Our Approach to Mineral Exploration

Tarku Resources follows an integrated approach to mineral exploration based on:

  • An in-depth understanding of target areas and geological models
  • A collaborative relationship with local communities that allows both parties to economically benefit from our projects.
  • A modern approach to exploration using adapted and innovative tools
  • A unique perspective on the types of mineralization typically explored in a target region: our projects are generated using exploration models recognized by the industry, but the models are different than those generally applied to the target region.
